I had a powerful dream in which the Lord gave me strategic instructions. When I woke up, I shared the dream with my husband, and I also told someone else about it. As I began to pray more about the dream, I realized that it wasn’t just for me or our family; it was meant for the body of Christ as a whole.
In this dream, God revealed to me eight keys.
When I woke up, I heard the Spirit of God say that this word was for the body of Christ in this season.
Declare this with me, “I am moving from battle into breakthrough!”
The Word of the Lord says in Matthew 11:12 “From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.”
Declare this with me, “Change of Address! I am moving!”
The Dream: A Vision of Spiritual Leaders
In this dream, I saw two generals of faith, a husband and a wife. In Africa, they hold a significant position, though I don’t want to use the term “Pope,” as it doesn’t apply to the Pentecostal or charismatic movements.
They are highly regarded in the spiritual realm.
About a year ago, a man of God told me, “When a general overseer or a leader of a movement appears to you in a dream, it is usually God using their image to represent something important.”
They came to me, and I also saw our spiritual parents here in South Africa. We have our overall spiritual parents, as well as those specifically in South Africa.
When I woke up, I realized that this was actually a dream filled with instruction, a next-level instruction for the body of Christ. In this dream, my spiritual parents were watching us. Suddenly, my husband appeared next to me, and I found myself to his right. I got down on my knees, showing a posture of prayer.
However, I was getting tired. I could literally feel exhaustion setting in while in the place of prayer, and so, within the dream, I went to sleep.
Encouragement for the Weary
I want to speak to someone who has been on their knees in prayer for a long time. Perhaps you have been facing various situations in your life that have made you feel fatigued or even discouraged.
You may still be committed to serving God and showing up, but deep down, you might be feeling disappointment or experiencing a hope that has been deferred.
For some of you, exhaustion may be setting in. The enemy might be taunting you, especially as we enter the new year, telling you that there’s no point in hoping since it still hasn’t happened.
I want to address someone who is feeling this exhaustion.
Matthew 25:5 says “Now while the bridegroom was delayed, they all began to nod off and fell asleep.”
This scripture refers to the parable of the ten virgins, which mentions five wise and five foolish ones.
Notice that the scripture doesn’t say only the foolish ones fell asleep, everyone grew tired of waiting. Sometimes, this fatigue isn’t a sign of foolishness or sin.
It simply reflects the reality of waiting for what seems like an indefinite period.
Delays Are Breaking
The phrase “the bridegroom was delayed” is important. When Daniel began to pray, the angel told him, “Daniel, from the first day you spoke, God heard your prayer.”
However, he also mentioned that the prince of Persia was opposing him. Many of you might have blessings hanging just above you, waiting for the right moment to be fulfilled.
Though you may be close to receiving them, there are often many adversaries in the way.
Declare this with me, “MY WAITING IS OVER!”
We must focus on how to break out of this season of delay. The Holy Spirit says “Delays are breaking.”
Declare this with me: “DELAYS ARE BREAKING NOW!”
Proverbs 13:12 says, “Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when desire is fulfilled, it is a tree of life.” I heard the Holy Spirit say that many in the body of Christ have been experiencing spiritual fatigue.
The Holy Spirit says that many in the body of Christ have been experiencing spiritual fatigue, but the Lord will fulfill His promises.
In Matthew 25:5, the bridegroom had been delayed, but he suddenly showed up. The Lord is going to do for you as He has promised. The Lord will conceive something new within you, leading to the fulfillment of His promises. They will not be aborted in the mighty name of Jesus! AMEN
For those who have experienced hope deferred, the Holy Spirit says that this is your season for desires to be fulfilled according to His will in Jesus’ mighty name.
Notice in the Word of God that when the bride grew weary, the focus was not on their sleepiness but rather on the fact that they did not have oil prepared. So, even though the bridegroom didn’t address their sleep, He emphasized the need for them to have oil.
God understands that you may be tired and He is not upset about that. Sometimes you might feel frustrated with God, asking, “Please, why is it taking so long?” But in the waiting, the important question is, Are you preparing the oil for when the breakthrough comes?
Get Fresh Oil
The first instruction is to get fresh oil from above!
The oil is not the Holy Spirit. He is not wind. He is not a dove. He is not fire. These are manifestations of the presence of the Holy Spirit.
Declare this with me, “I’m going to get fresh oil.”
The breakthrough that is about to take place in your life, you will not be able to birth it in your own strength.
Luke 1:34-35 says, How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?” The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.
I hear the Holy Spirit say, ‘THERE IS A REVOLUTION.’ I declare that the spirit of God will come upon you.
2 Kings 3:18 says that the prophet Elijah declared, “He will hand the Moabites over to you.” As you step into this new dimension, Welcome to your “GOD DID IT” season!
Declare this with me: “It’s my God Did It season!” You are about to receive a breakthrough. Amen!
Get God Involved!
The word of the Lord in Zechariah 4:6 says”Not by power nor by might, but by the Spirit of the Lord.”
There are steps to getting God involved. It’s not magic when you witness breakthroughs or experience answered prayers. There is a spiritual method to it. We must GET GOD INVOLVED!
Luke 24:49 says “And behold, I am sending the promise of My Father upon you; but you are to stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.” This tells us how to invite God into our situations.
Return to the Lord
Declare this with me, “I will wait on God in prayer, praise, worship, fasting, and diligent study of the Word until I am clothed and fully equipped with power from on high.”
Job 22:23 says, “If you return to the Almighty, you will be restored; if you remove wickedness far from your tent.” This speaks of the next instruction, RETURN TO THE LORD AND BE RESTORED!
Joel 2:12 says, “Even now,” declares the Lord, “return to me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning.”
Declare this with me, I will return to the Lord with all my heart!
The Power of Right Associations
In my dream, I found myself on my knees in prayer. Eventually, I grew exhausted and fell asleep. Then, the General of Faith’s wife appeared. She took a three-stranded cord and gently tapped me with it.
Ecclesiastes 4:12 says “Though one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him; a cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”
In this illustration within my dream, the Lord imparted an important instruction: we must make the right spiritual associations during this season.
If she had only tapped me with one strand, I might not have woken up! It took the interwoven strength of the three-stranded cord to rouse me, and I suddenly regained my alertness.
The Lord emphasized the necessity of surrounding ourselves with the right spiritual influences. To cultivate these associations, we should ensure we are always in the company of believers.
Breakthrough comes?
Get Fresh Oil

Rebuild the Altar
In my dream, she awakened three parts of my body with the cord. First, she tapped my feet. Ephesians 6:15 describes this, saying, “And having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace.”
When we engage with the Word, our feet become energized.
Declare this with me, “I am awakening my feet!”
Psalm 18:29 says, “For by You, I can run against a troop, and by my God, I can leap over a wall.” Some of you have faced attacks from the enemy, but God reassures us: Don’t cower or let him intimidate you. He is not that powerful! Remember, with God’s help, we can overcome.
Next, she tapped my knees.
I had a dream last night in which someone mentioned that part of my husband’s assignment is to ignite the fire in South Africa and throughout Africa.
As the body of Christ, we need to focus on rebuilding the altar.
1 Kings 18:30 says “Then Elijah said to all the people, ‘Come near to me.’ So all the people came near to him. And he repaired the altar of the Lord that had been torn down.”
We must rebuild the altar of worship and prayer. Many of you have been afflicted by the spirit of Jezebel, generational curses, or territorial forces. There is strength available for those with weak hands and trembling knees.
Isaiah 58:8 says “Then your light will break out like the dawn, and your healing will come quickly.”
Finally, she tapped my back with the three-stranded cord. Some of you will begin fasting once a week or for three days each month. This is important unless you have medical conditions or are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Your Season of Power and Prosperity
After waking from the dream, I found myself in a vehicle and went to meet two individuals. The first person’s name means “God is powerful,” and the second person’s name means “wealth.”
God is bringing to you the power to achieve prosperity.
Deuteronomy 8:18 says “But remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the power to get wealth.”
1 Kings 3:4-5 says “Now the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there, for that was the great high place: Solomon offered a thousand burnt offerings on that altar. At Gibeon, the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream by night; and God said, ‘Ask! What shall I give you?’”
Yes! You Can Ask God for Anything!
We decree and declare to you that you shall move from battles to breakthroughs in Jesus’ name!
