The word of God in Deuteronomy 28:2 says, And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God. These blessings are God’s promises to us.
WHAT IS GOD’S PROMISE?
God’s promise is God’s declaration, His love, His intent, His thought, His plan, His will, and His Purpose for your life.
God is a promise keeper. His Word never fails. It is a promise given, a promise kept. Every promise God made has been fulfilled in Christ.
In the book of Genesis, chapter 1, we see God telling Adam, “Be fruitful and multiply; have dominion over the earth.” This was a promise given to Adam, and God kept that promise until Adam fell and sinned against Him.
Even after Adam’s fall, the Bible tells us that God came again to give another promise, “I am going to redeem man and bring him back to Myself.” This was another promise from God.
Many years later, the promise of redemption was fulfilled on the cross of Calvary. When Jesus rose from the dead, that promise of redemption was brought to fruition.
Another promise that is about to be fulfilled is the return of Jesus Christ, which will happen very soon. Every promise that God made has been fulfilled in Christ Jesus.
No promise dies when the resurrection power is available.
WHAT IS RESURRECTION?
Resurrection is the bringing or returning to life what was dead. It also means an act of restoration, revitalization, and revival. Therefore, the Resurrection is the demonstration of God’s power to bring to life every good promise that was dead.
Resurrection is the mystery behind the greatness of God’s power, and any genuine encounter with this resurrection power brings about miracles, signs, wonders, and fulfillment of promises that cannot be denied.
THE POWER THROUGH THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST
God’s Mighty Power is demonstrated through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The word of God in the book of Ephesians 1:19-20 says, “and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms”.
His resurrection power opens up new chapters for the fulfillment of His promises in your life according to the scriptures in the book of John 11:44, which says, “And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Lose him, and let him go.”
The Bible tells us that the devil comes to steal, kill, and destroy. In contrast, Jesus said, “I have come that you may have life and have it more abundantly.” The power of the resurrection brings life in abundance.
God’s resurrection power not only gives life but also restores everything that the enemy has stolen. When the Bible recounts the story of Jesus calling out to Lazarus, saying, “Lazarus, come forth,” the moment the Word of God was spoken, His resurrection power was at work.
Everything that Lazarus had lost due to the actions of the enemy was restored to him. His sight was restored, his hearing was restored, his organs were restored, and everything that had been taken from him was given back to him because of God’s resurrection power.
Declare this with me, ‘Every promise concerning my destiny that the devil has tried to kill or steal shall be resurrected by the power of God in the name of Jesus.’
THINGS THAT MUST BE DONE TO HAVE YOUR PROMISE FROM GOD
Have a genuine relationship with God.
Amos 3:3 says Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
You cannot appropriate what is given to you or what you do not have access to. You cannot live outside the kingdom and expect to enjoy the benefits of the kingdom. Matthew 6:33 says, But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.
Know the promises and personalize them.
Knowledge empowers you to walk in the reality of the promises made to you, as mentioned in John 8:32 which says, “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free”. Also, knowledge creates expectations in your heart and builds your faith.
Declare your promise.
Declaration is the proclamation and affirmation of what God has said concerning you. It is saying the same thing God has said.
Declaration is the appropriation of what belongs to you in God’s promises. Proverbs 18:21 says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”
The resurrection power of God is made manifest when we align ourselves to God by the confession and declaration of our mouth.
Walk in obedience.
Obeying God’s Word activates the release of His power, which empowers the fulfillment of His promises in your life. Deuteronomy 28:1 states, “And it shall come to pass, if you diligently listen to the voice of the Lord your God and observe
and follow all His commandments that I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth.”
Walk in Faith
Faith aligns you with God’s ability to fulfill His promises in your life. John 11:25 says, “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live”
I decree and declare that EVERY PROMISES FROM GOD CONCERNING YOUR DESTINY SHALL BE RELEASED TO YOU IN THE NAME OF JESUS! AMEN
